The mug is made from a slab of porcelain which has been laminated with a slice of a colored pattern of clay made by a mokume gane process of texturing then flattening a layered piece of clay, then slicing. All of the color is in the glaze, with a clear glaze.
Dishwasher and microwave safe, measures 3 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter and holds 10 ounces.
