This vase is thrown on a wheel using a combination of porcelain and porcelain colored with ceramic stains. Work was altered on the wheel, then further carved to reveal the inner patterns. During the carving, eyes appeared! All the color is in the clay, with a clear glaze.
Size: 4 inches in diameter by 5 3/4 inches tall.
