I am wife, mother, grandmother, retired office manager, art student and artist. I have three children that I am very proud of. I started taking art classes at Mohave Community College, Fort Mojave, Arizona in 1991. I was still working at that time so I could only handle one class a semester. My husband and I retired to Green Valley in 1998. Starting in 1999 I took several pastel classes, through Green Valley Recreation, from Don Weber artist and teacher from Tucson. In 2001 I started taking watercolor classes form Deanna Thibault artist and teacher at Pima Community College. I took a 4 day work shop with Roger Kinney. I have also taken other one or day workshops. This past year I have taken classes from Jean Ranstrom artist and teach. I am currently a member and past officer of the Santa Rita Art League. I am also a member of the Tubac Center of the Arts. I have displayed my work at the Country Club of Green Valley, Desert Hills Lutheran Church and various Green Valley Recreation Centers. I enjoy both water color and pastel painting. I have just started painting in acrylics and find I enjoy their versatility. My favorite subjects are animals and flowers, but I also enjoy painting other subjects. I hope you enjoy my efforts.
